Preparation: Backup all the data on your iPad to iTunes, including photos, videos, music, video clips and so on, just as a precaution.

Step 1. Connect the iPad to your computer using the USB cable.

Step 3. Run the Spirit jailbreak application. Windows users may need to run the program as an administrator - choose "Run this program as an administrator" from the menu. If you still have issues, try running it in compatibility mode as well.

Step 4. Click the "jailbreak" button to jailbreak your iPad.
